Erica Barton, RYT 200
Erica Barton, M.S., NCC, RYT-200
Erica is a mental health therapist specializing in mindfulness and compassion, an occasional
Spanish teacher, and a dedicated student and teacher of an integrative and holistic approach to
practicing yoga. This integrative approach arises from an intention to create an empowering
space for students and clients to explore the healing relationship between the mind, body, and
spirit. As a student and teacher of yoga, Erica explores the subtleties in the science of yoga that
support mental and emotional wellness. She is passionate about working at the intersections of
language, embodied awareness, and empowerment. Erica loves to design nourishing and
accessible flow-based, meditative, and restorative yoga practices as offerings for each student
to connect to the sacred, and sometimes messy, space within.
Beyond her 200-hour certification, Erica is grateful to have received additional education that
supports an integrative and therapeutic style of yoga teaching, including Trauma-Informed Yoga
with Hala Khouri, Integrative Yoga Therapeutics and The Connective Tissue Matrix with Bo
Forbes, The Lunar Arts of Yoga and Hands on Assists with Gina Caputo, Safe Alignment with
Nancy Kate Rau, and Levels I and II Usui Reiki with Jess Ryan.
Erica also offers private individual yoga sessions, private group classes and events, workshops, and classes in Spanish. Please see her page on Facebook at Erica Barton Yoga or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
