Jesse first discovered yoga in 2005 after a life-shattering event, and what began as a way to cope with anxiety and depression soon transformed into a passion for physical and mental well-being. While pursuing a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion at the University of Wyoming he became a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, and eventually started his own business.
Sensing that his education in wellness at the collegiate level was fragmented and incomplete, he began to plan for an independent study PHD (pretty healthy dude).
After college, he attended massage therapy school in Costa Rica, yoga teacher training at Blossom Yoga, Co-Active coach training in Denver, and Living Light Culinary Institute in California.
Jesse has been teaching movement classes for over ten years and considers himself a lifelong student. His teaching style tends to gravitate towards strength and alignment with an emphasis on anatomy and intuition.
